Affiliate Disclosure
Formula Clarity may earn compensation when readers use certain links on the site, but commercial relationships must be disclosed and must not override the editorial evidence standard.
Current disclosure standard
Formula Clarity is designed as an affiliate-supported skincare and beauty publication. Specific merchant, network, commission-rate, cookie-window, or program claims should appear only after they are verified. We do not use this page to imply that any unverified affiliate program is active.
Where disclosures appear
When an article includes affiliate links, the article should include a clear disclosure before or near the first affiliate link or buying decision area. Policy-page disclosure alone is not enough for pages that ask readers to compare or buy products.
Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships must not determine whether a product is included, how evidence is interpreted, which limitations are shown, or whether a product is recommended. A product can be discussed without an affiliate link, and a product with an affiliate link can still receive a cautious or negative assessment if the evidence supports that.
What affiliate links can and cannot prove
An affiliate link means there may be a commercial relationship between Formula Clarity and a merchant, platform, or affiliate network. It does not mean the product is endorsed by an expert, tested by a lab, suitable for every reader, medically appropriate, or better than unlinked alternatives.
Gifted products, samples, sponsorships, and paid placements
If Formula Clarity receives a gifted product, sample, discount, sponsorship, paid placement, consulting relationship, or other material connection that could affect reader trust, the relevant page should disclose it clearly. Sponsored content or paid placement should not be disguised as independent editorial selection.
Prices and merchant information
Product prices, stock status, shipping, taxes, returns, seller identity, coupon availability, and bundle terms can change after publication. Readers should verify the final terms on the merchant site before purchasing.
Affiliate networks and third-party tracking
When you click an affiliate link, the merchant or affiliate network may use cookies, tracking parameters, referral IDs, or similar technologies according to its own policies. Formula Clarity does not control third-party sites after you leave formulaclarity.com. See our Privacy Policy for our site-level privacy practices.
Questions or disclosure issues
If you see an affiliate link that appears unlabeled, broken, misleading, or inconsistent with this disclosure, email contact@formulaclarity.com with the page URL and issue.
